If you’re here, you must be tired of main characters who don’t follow through and make empty threats.
You know the ones, the characters who spout:

“You’ll be sorry!”, or “You’re lucky I don’t get serious!”, or “Get out of my sight before I do something I’ll regret”, and so many more lame empty promises we’ve heard before.

In the new book I’m writing, the main character is an assassin who follows through on his word. It’s a fantasy story with a mix of dark magic and assassins. Follow his journey as he tries to survive the constant threat of being attacked by an assassin or the world of dark magic that he finds himself in the middle of. There’s plenty of combat, fun character dialogue, and an underlying mystery to explore.

Here’s a glimpse into what’s in the book:

My fingers finished their magical brushwork that left a spell circle with clean edges befitting the noble I worked for. I kept my hand on the magic circle I had carved into his back, and grabbed the handle of my knife. Pain that felt like lightning pounded on my temples, and nausea filled my throat as I performed the cursed spell work.

Or combat dialogue such as:

“Harm them and your head will roll. Are we clear?” I asked.

He gulped, “Yeah, how’d you get in here.”

“Magic, drop the spell.” I said.
